"This first book of the Light Passers Chronicles was a pleasure and an inspiration to read. I am not sure if it fits neatly into any particular genre, but for me, that added to its appeal. Quest of the Chosen: The Journey Begins is action packed and the author's style flows seamlessly from scene to scene. There is a great deal of wisdom and insight into the human condition. The letters that appear along the journey reminded me of guided meditations. I look forward to readhing the rest of the series and following the future adventures of the four young heroes. Will Appeal to the Young Adult Reader.
"I enjoyed read this first story in the Light Passers Chronicles series. Hats off to the author for tackling the job of telling a story that communicates difficult and complex philosphical/spiritual/mystical concepts, especially for a young adult audience. It was well done and I think it may be the book's/series' differentiator. The choice of character backgrounds is fresh and should help the book fit well into the current zeitgeist. I was moved by the characters' efforts to overcome the various challenges they confronted. The book did a good job of using one character's reaction to highlight the deeds of another character. I also thought transitions from one character's POV to another's worked well, which is not an easy thing to achieve. The pacing of action and rest was effective and supported the way the complex philosophical concepts were communicated. The story has good momentum." - Dan S.
